Latest Update about CityHill Northshore Services
Let us kindly inform you that due to the measures of controlling the spread of COVID-19, all our church public services and meetings are temporarily cancelled, and during the quarantine we are switching to online streaming! We welcome you to join us online this Sunday at 12:00 PM. Please visit us on YouTube and Facebook to watch us live. We encourage you to get together with your families at home and use this time to be in prayer, worship, and to dive deeper into the Word of God!
As we get accustomed to this temporary new format of worship, we believe that the Lord will visit each family, as Christ once said, “for where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:20). Because of the temporary, strict requirements announced by the authorities to comply with the quarantine standards in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, we - as believers - must abide by them fully, and thereby set an example of care and service to our society, doing everything necessary on our part to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, and to help overcome it. We believe this is the moment the apostle Paul talked about in his letter to Romans “therefore one must be subject, not only because of wrath but also because of conscience.” (Rom. 13:5). We want to use common sense and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe that our Lord will heal our land when we pray for it and also by observing the norms of prevention in our state.
Therefore, our decision to minimize all church public activities and avoid any large gatherings of people in the effort to help prevent the risk of unknowingly transmitting the virus from person to person, is coming from the heart of love for our people and the desire to help our society rapidly move towards an early victory.
Life goes on. We are a church regardless of circumstances. This Sunday, as we will gather with our families in different parts of Big Seattle, and in unity of the spirit, let us pray for the Nation and our homes!
As we go through these inconveniences together, please continue to be faithful in giving and financially supporting our church.
We wish you and your families to stay safe under God’s protection!
Last Sunday's 12pm service never happened as far as I can tell. Did not happen live or delayed, anywhere, I could not find anything. I email from the web site but no reply. Is i me or were there technical problems?
I pray all is well and look forward to this Sunday's service.
